Introducing our rapidly growing team at Coppett Hill. We have a mix of strategy consulting, operating and investment backgrounds with over 40 years collective experience. Our team has run over 150 Corporate Strategy and Commercial Due Diligence assignments, led over 70 value creation projects with investor-backed companies, and been part of investor-backed management teams.

Chairman
Alastair Rimmer
Alastair brings over 30 years of experience in strategy and transactions, advising private equity firms and corporates across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. He has led more than 500 growth strategy, value creation and due diligence assignments globally. Most recently, Alastair led PwC’s Global Deals Strategy business, overseeing a team of 1,000+ professionals. His focus areas include growth strategy, M&A strategy, commercial and strategic due diligence, post-deal revenue optimisation, and value creation.

Dave Kirby
Strategy consultant by training with 7 years at PwC Strategy&. Completed 90 projects working on private equity transactions and developing strategies for private equity-backed businesses. Moved into marketing leadership at CarTrawler in the online travel space, one of the most advanced digital marketing categories. Led 3 brands across 20 international markets with a focus on search marketing and conversion optimisation. Partner at Livingbridge advising 50+ B2B and B2C investee companies on marketing-led value creation and appraising 100+ pre-deal opportunities – combining my experience as a pragmatic operator and a strategist. Most recently completed an interim Chief Marketing Officer role with an alternative investment platform at start-up stage

Mike Holmes
Experienced operator having spent 2 years at IWG plc (Regus) as Commercial Director prior to joining Scale Space (initially as CCO and then CEO), where Mike was responsible for building a marketing and sales capability, and scaled the business to >£3m EBITDA. 8 years of strategy consulting experience at PwC Strategy&, completing over 50 projects across growth strategy and commercial due diligence for private equity clients across a range of industry sectors. Mike holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.

Head of Organisational Development
Simone Girardeau
Strategy consultant with 5 years experience with Boston Consulting Group in London advising clients in the Tech, Media, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors. Gained digital and operational experience during a 9 month secondment at TimeInc supporting their transition from print to digital. Joined the Value Strategy Group at Livingbridge, advising and working with portfolio companies to define and deliver value creation plans, including customer segmentation, new market entry, product development, M&A and exit strategies. Founded and ran a social enterprise for 2 years during Covid to support professional musicians. Lockdown Presents was a global platform for booking virtual live concerts for personal and corporate events. Spent 3 years as an independent consultant supporting management teams of VC and PE backed businesses with strategic projects and fundraising. Combined operational experience, strategic problem solving and investor lens to translate between big picture strategy, financial impact, and on the ground execution.

Project Leader
Harry von Behr
7 years at PwC Strategy&, completing more than 50 projects across commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and value creation for private equity-backed businesses. Joined Spotlight Sports Group (backed by Exponent Private Equity) as Head of Strategy & Business Development. Oversaw the acquisition and integration of multiple B2C and B2B businesses, and launched the US-facing media site Pickswise.com. Latterly, led the Global B2B and US B2C business units as Managing Director, overseeing the Sales, Marketing and Content functions. Responsible for strategy, P&L and operations across a wide range of products and services, overseeing £30m of revenue.

Project Leader
Tim Roach
Experienced strategy consultant with more than 16 years’ combined experience in strategy consulting and commercial management. Successfully completed more than 75 strategy projects across a consulting career that has included experience with Walgreens Boots, Pragma Consulting and latterly Strategy&, where Tim was a Director. Led multiple commercial due diligence, performance optimisation, go-to-market strategy, and value creation projects on consumer, fintech and software businesses, for a predominantly private equity client base. This has included experience assessing the marketing effectiveness of multiple D2C businesses. During his time with Walgreens Boots, Tim led the £250m revenue baby product business, overseeing trading teams to deliver category targets via a number of range, price, COGS and marketing initiatives.

Operations Manager
Sammy Daniels
Most recently spent 3.5 years at venture capital firm Connect Ventures, establishing the company’s first dedicated operations management role. Experience includes developing processes, improving internal efficiencies, event management, office management and wider project management where required. Previously spent 4.5 years at private equity firm Livingbridge, focused on support and event management.

Josh Fidler-Brown
Josh started his career at McKinsey advising TMT and PE clients on growth strategy projects, before joining Livingbridge’s Growth Acceleration Team. Delivered 100+ pre-deal and 50+ post-deal value creation projects across marketing, sales, and analytics. He joined PE-backed World of Books in 2022, leading customer acquisition, retention, and pricing across UK and US, including tech and data builds for dynamic marketplace pricing (e.g., Amazon and eBay). In 2025, co-founded Sycamore, a digitally native gardening brand. From building the platform from scratch to shaping the brand's go-to-market strategy, Josh has been involved in every aspect of the business.

Felix Bishton
Worked with OC&C Strategy Consultants for 2 years, delivering Commercial Due Diligence and Corporate Strategy projects across several industries. Followed by 2 years building startups in COVID-testing, Logistics Tracking and Medical Appointment Booking, with a focus tech development. Most recently spent 2 years contracting in the strategy analytics and data provision space for a range of consultancy, private equity and corporate clients. Graduated with a Masters from London School of Economics and from the University of Warwick with a degree in Economics.

Sahib Kalra
Worked at Jaguar Land Rover for 2 years, leading the development of the brand strategy for the Discovery brand. Also led cross-regional workstreams focused on customer retention. Previously worked in consulting at Bain & Co., helping clients identify white space opportunities within their portfolios. Also worked at a startup, successfully delivering over 15 Commercial Due Diligence projects across multiple sectors such as automotive, financial services, CPG, and more. A founding member of their Digital practice. Graduated with a Master’s in Business Analytics from Warwick Business School and a Bachelors in Automotive Engineering from Delhi Technological University.

Qasim Mughal
8 years of total experience including 2.5 years at BCG, delivering projects across pricing and customer acquisition strategy. Previous experience also includes a fintech where he worked on growth strategies and process optimisation, and 4 years in banking across both retail and corporate as well as building an eCommerce business. Qasim holds a Chemical Engineering degree.

Jack Johnson
Strategy consultant by training, with experience in Deloitte's strategy, analytics and M&A practise, supporting public sector, private sector and FS projects across all of these areas. Previously completed internships within the FinTech space and digital analytics consultancy, helping household name companies better manage and analyse sales data. Graduated from the University of Bath with a degree in Mathematics.

Sam Harrison
Data Scientist by training, with M&A experience in Lincoln International’s Business Services sector team. Most recently worked as a contractor to support Data & AI strategy within the private equity sector. Previously worked as a data analyst within the Retail industry, developing data-driven insights to inform business strategy. Graduated with a Master’s in Data Science from UCL and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from the University of Bath.

Jevon Sunandar
Previous experience in multiple consulting (Deloitte, PwC) and engineering firms providing analysis, drafting reports and developing working platforms for clients. Graduated with a Masters and Bachelor’s in Information and Computer Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

Ben Thum
Completed an internship at an M&A boutique focused on the logistics market. More recently worked on designing financial reporting tools for film and TV productions with clients including Apple TV, Netflix, and HBO. Graduated with a Master’s in Applicable Mathematics from the London School of Economics.

Previous experience includes work in growth departments for early-stage startups in the education-tech and e-commerce space, and corporate banking. Graduated with a Masters from the London School of Economics and a Bachelors in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.

Lorenzo Filippini
Strategy consulting experience in innovation and govtech SMEs. Previously worked at PUBLIC, a digital transformation consultancy scaling European startups. Former research assistant at LSE and UCL, contributing to studies on EU economic performance and business policies. Holds an MSc in International Political Economy from the LSE and a Bachelor’s in History, Politics, and Economics from UCL.
